Maryville Claims South Championship
April 30, 2009 (Murfreesboro, TN) - Maryville girls claimed the 2009 South Championship with two well earned victories in Murfreesboro. Maryville defeated Hoke (NC) 43-5 in the semifinals and upended cross state rival Ravenwood 34-5 in the final. The win advances the girls to the 2009 USA Rugby National Championship Tournament on May 15-17 in Pittsburg, PA.
